FMA and PCS-CS

Catastrophizing and fear avoidance behavior are common in patients who experience persistent symptoms after concussion. We have developed two instruments to assess these behaviors, the Fear of Mental Activities Scale (FMA) and the Post-Concussion Symptom Catastrophizing Scale (PCS-CS). These instruments have been validated for use in an mTBI population, see King, et al., (2024). The instruments and instructions are available below in both Dutch and English.
