Limburg Brain Injury Centre (LBIC) does scientific research to gain insight into acquired brain injury and the consequences for the patient and their social environment. These consequences, such as memory and concentration problems, fatigue, depression, or overstimulation are often invisible to the environment. In addition, to research regarding the consequences of a brain injury, LBIC wants to set up and evaluate new effective and efficient treatments. It is important to us that the knowledge we gain shared with society, and that new treatment programs are implemented in the health care system.
