Short description
I work as a clinical neuropsychologist for 24 hours per week at the Department of Medical Psychology at Maastricht UMC, and 8 hours as a senior researcher. I obtained my PhD in 2007 and my research was related to the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis of dementia. My current research focuses on people with memory problems and dementia. In the coming years I will expand my target group to include people with acquired brain injury (NAH). In the hospital I mainly work at the Memory Clinic and Brain Injury Clinic where I see patients with memory complaints, dementia and acquired brain injury for diagnostics and treatment. It's great to be able to combine clinical work with research!
