Short description
I am an associate professor and senior researcher. I spend about half of my time teaching students in the Psychology & Neuroscience faculty. The other half of my time is spent on research. My research mainly focuses on two themes. I investigate how variables such as insight into one's own functioning affect recovery after brain injury. In addition, I investigate how brain injury can change people's behavior. The development and evaluation of treatment programs (medicated and non-medicated) with the goal of improving the quality of life of people with brain injury are a major focus of my research.
Focus areas
Evaluation of neuropsychological rehabilitation treatments; awareness of deficits and ABI; Behavioral change after ABI.
