Short description
I am a junior researcher. After following the bachelor’s program in psychobiology at the University of Amsterdam, I successfully completed the research master in cognitive and clinical neuroscience (specialization in neuropsychology) at Maastricht University.
Focus areas
The main topic of my research is self-awareness of deficits after acquired brain injury. I investigate why some people have impaired awareness of their cognitive functions after brain injury, whether it is possible to improve self-awareness of deficits during rehabilitation, and whether that, in turn, improves rehabilitation outcomes.
