I was trained as a psychiatrist in Germany and worked in the UK for 15 years. I now work as a clinical professor in various clinical areas, especially in neuropsychiatry and psychiatry of genetic syndromes, as well as in research and management of research (as scientific director of the School for Mental Health and Neuroscience (MHeNs), one of the research institutes of MUMC).
