Short description

I’m working as a clinical neuropsychologist and associate professor in the Medical Psychology departments of the university hospitals: Maastricht UMC+ (16 hours) and Radboudumc Nijmegen (24 hours). The patient care focuses mainly on patients with neurodegenerative disorders including the memory clinic population and people with (hereditary) muscle diseases, including Myotonic Dystrophy. The research within both functions focuses on personalized treatment and the self-management in people with movement disorders, in particular Parkinson's disease, and their loved ones!

Movement Disorders, in particular Parkinson’s and Huntington’s Disease, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and self-management.
