Short description
I work as a GZ psychologist and researcher in the Department of Medical Psychology at VieCuri Medical Center Venlo. My research focuses on long-term cognitive and emotional consequences of COVID-19, and predictors of persistent symptoms. I completed my doctoral research at Maastricht University in 2012. My research focused on how people with brain injury cope with tension and stress. I then worked at GGZ Oost-Brabant, High Specialty Center for Brain Injury and Neuropsychiatry, where I combined research with clinical work. From 2013 to early 2023, I worked as a psychologist at the PAAZ of Laurentius Hospital and completed my GZ training.
